Why Amazon Might Struggle in Australia
Only 7% of Australia’s shopping happens online. This can be a struggle for Amazon as it enters Australia, Professor Gary Mortimer of Queensland University of Technology predicts.
Should future Aussie sellers be worried? Probably not. As seen above, Amazon has significantly changed shopping patterns in multiple places in the world.
Sellers getting in early will be able to get a bigger piece of the pie as brick and mortar sales will eventually shift more online.
